Matt,

I thought that your podcast was excellent. You had a great pace in your reading of your script that was efficient in delivering the information, yet still slow enough to feel conversational and understandable. You developed your script very well as it went along, first stating the question as to what the "white boxes" on campus are before revealing their significance, followed by further details about the event.

I also loved the little moments of humor you threw into the piece, like when you make reference to the hideous steam vents erupting from the ground.

Really really great job!

Matt-

I absolutely loved your opening, mainly because I was one of those people who wondered why there was a giant white box by the Student Center. I hadn’t read the script before I listened to your podcast, so it caught me off-guard and I actually started laughing as you said that. Anyway, I thought your piece was great—it was nicely written, had a smooth flow to it, and your voice conveyed the perfect amount of energy. I guess my only criticisms would be where you stumbled a little toward the end (perfectly understandable because it took me far too many tries to finally get it right), and at the end where you can hear papers rustling. Also, the sound came off as a little muffled, but I’m sure that can easily be fixed. These criticisms are minor, and you really have nothing to worry about. Nicely done!
